July 16, 2009 Webcast - Resource Consumption Accounting: Linking Operations and Finance to Drive Business Performance
07/01/2009

Alta Via Consulting, webinar sponsor and the RCA Institute is working with MESA (Manufacturing Enterprise and Systems Association) to demonstrate the benefits of how RCA can link operational metrics-to-financial ERP data. Resource Consumption Accounting: Linking Operations and Finance to Drive Business Performance is the focus of this webinar and the experience and results that Neenah Paper has achieved by implementing RCA that subsequently enhanced its operational and business decision support capabilities for their production and support processes.  Neenah installed a new ERP system which met their external reporting needs; however, it did not offer visibility into their manufacturing costs, or product / client profitability.  This webinar identifies the root cause of the problem that exists between financial and operational metrics.  There is no cost to attend this event but online registration is required prior to the webcast.

CeBIT March 2009 Tradeshow
03/03/2009-03/08/2009

Alta Via Consulting's EU personnel participated at the Annual CeBIT Tradeshow held in Hannover, Germany from March 3-8, 2009. Our booth was part of Jedox's 1500 square feet display, and offered personalized demonstrations highlighting the capabilities of Palos. The Jedox product has garnered considerable attention for its ease of use in addressing spreadsheet chaos for planning, analysis and reporting that many companies struggle with. The Palo product interfaces seamlessly with popular spreadsheet software such as MS-Excel.

As a co-exhibitor with business partner Jedox, this year's show attracted 4,300 companies from 69 countries with over 400,000 visitors. The Jedox booth sported a sailboat in Hall 4, adjacent to the SAP and Microsoft exhibitors (see photo below). The Jedox/PALO booth was stationed by Alta Via representatives Julien Delvat, Joerg Funke, Peter Von Zimmerman, Marcus Hahn and Hans-Hermann Soll who were very active, discussing PALO’s capabilities, complete with multi-lingual demonstrations to all interested parties. Overall, the tradeshow was a huge success by generating leads, increasing awareness and ongoing product support to an international audience.

New Partnership With Jedox
10/06/2008

Alta Via Consulting is proud to announce its partnership with Jedox Enterprise Spreadsheets. Jedox offers a true multi-user solution to the common spreadsheet chaos and is especially useful for small to mid-size firms. The ease with which spreadsheets are typically duplicated, changed and distributed by e-mail creates serious problems and often results in spreadsheet chaos with redundant, segmented and out-of-date business information. The fundamental principle behind Enterprise Spreadsheets is the existence of a powerful Excel back-end that enables data consistency in spreadsheets. To learn more about our Jedox partnership...
